A Night of Resilience and Renewal
On November 10, 2025, the opening of Interactions — Visual Conversations with Urban Nature unfolded like a quiet triumph over the storm.
Outside, the first snow of the season fell, and the city slowed under its white hush. Inside Kaza Maza, where art, flavour, and community come together, the atmosphere was warm and alive with laughter, conversation, and connection. Despite the STM strike and the weather, so many came — drawn perhaps by the same pulse of resilience that runs through the artworks themselves.
Guests paused before the diptychs, speaking of the vivid colours, the light that breathes through each image, and the tenderness of urban nature reclaiming its place. Many were also moved by learning about INARA, the NGO supported by the exhibition, and its life-changing work with displaced children and families across the Middle East — a living embodiment of courage and renewal.
It was an evening that reminded us that resilience is not only endurance, but the art of becoming — of finding beauty and balance where it is least expected.
